Gut Health Overview

Some parents have seen improvement with behavior, hyperactivity, allergy, and autoimmune conditions and emotional regulation by modifying their child’s diet, supplementing deficient nutrients and following protocols that reduce gut and brain inflammation. Depending on the severity of the issues, different modifications have worked. For some, eliminating sensitive foods (ex. gluten, dairy etc) has helped. Others need to take nutritional supplements or undergo more intensive processes (gut healing, detox, etc). This is an emerging area of study, so parents may need to be persistent and consult with various experts to help their children.
